In the summer I played in a few AJGA tournaments. One that I played in was the AJGA junior at Killington. This was located in Killington, Vt. The first day of this tournament I played very well. I kept my head focused at all times and I shot a bogey free 69(-2) which put me in 5th place overall. Going into the next two days I felt good but also very nervous. I kept putting into my mind that I could win my first AJGA tournament, and I forgot to just play my game. The second day I shot 77 which was bad because I missed a lot of short putts and some stupid shots that should not have happened. I was upset with myself, but I realized that I can come out the next day and do better. I ended up shooting a 76 the last day. I felt content with my game, but definitely left some birdies out there. For next time I know to just play my game and not worry about scores, winning, or other people. Hopefully this will help with my next tournament at the Ranch.
