A few days ago my mom, grandma, and I attended the Monroe County Image Awards. We were there for my nomination for community service in the Monroe County. I did end up winning the award; however, it was not just my award. It was for everyone who helped me and supported our efforts to helping those going through the devastating disease of cancer. When I was walking up to the stage to receive the award I more nervous than I ever had been before. I do not know why but it was scary since I never get nervous. Also another congratulations to all of the other award winners and nominees. The event was beautiful, it was held in a magnificent location, and the people were all so loving and supportive. The entertainment between the awards was spectacular, and the food was good. All in all it was a good day to make my charity a little more known, and to get to thank all the people who have supported my efforts.
